Differential characteristics of Front/Rear shaft  transfer case :

When the truck turns, the length of the arc that each wheel presses is different. This means that the rotation speed of each wheel is also different. The arc length pressed by the front wheel is greater than the arc length pressed by the rear wheel, that is, the rotation speed of the front wheel is higher than that of the rear wheel. 
The uniform rotation speed of the front and rear wheels will cause steering interference between the front and rear wheels during steering. It will generate a braking force, commonly referred to as "steering brake," causing damage wear on the tires on the ground. Setting the inter-axle differential in the truck transfer case can effectively solve this problem.

The differential between shafts of the transfer case uses the principle of planetary differential to adjust the rotational speed difference between the front and rear wheels so that the rotational speed difference between the front and rear output shafts can be adjusted by changing the rotation speed of the planetary gears itself . The shaft rotates at different speeds to coordinate the movement of the wheels nad let the truck moving smooth .
